The Meaningful Work Foundation Announces 2026 Grant Recipients Announcement

Raise Meaningful Work Foundation Announces 2026 Grant Recipients

Every year, our Meaningful Work Foundation invests in charities that are creating pathways to meaningful employment for people facing barriers to work. Since launching in 2017, the Foundation has provided more than $830,000 in grants to over 47 charities across Canada, supporting programs that build skills, confidence, and opportunities for long-term success.

We are excited to announce our three grant recipients for 2026! These organizations are doing amazing work by helping individuals access training, employment opportunities, and support systems. Raise is proud to be supporting:

Focus Forward for Indigenous Youth

Focus Forward for Indigenous Youth is a national Indigenous charity that works alongside Indigenous communities to provide culturally relevant employment and skills training opportunities for Indigenous youth facing barriers to employment. Through community-driven programming, they help young people build confidence, develop practical skills, and explore future career pathways while remaining connected to culture and community.

Their work recognizes that meaningful employment is about more than finding a job. By supporting the whole person and collaborating directly with Indigenous communities, Focus Forward helps youth develop the skills, experiences, and support networks needed to pursue self-determined futures.

Home Suite Hope Living Corp

Home Suite Hope provides long-term support for single-parent families experiencing homelessness. Through a combination of housing, education, employment readiness, and community support programs, they help families achieve lasting stability and financial independence.

Their approach addresses the interconnected barriers that can make employment difficult, including housing insecurity, access to education, childcare challenges, and financial hardship. By helping parents build sustainable careers while creating stable environments for their children, Home Suite Hope is creating lasting change for entire families.

Inside Out Theatre

Inside Out Theatre is a Calgary-based charity dedicated to creating belonging, opportunity, and economic participation for people living with disabilities and neurodivergence. Through accessible arts programming, employment initiatives, and community-based supports, they work to remove barriers that can limit participation in both community life and the workforce.

Our funding will support their Home Team program, a paid training and employment initiative that provides participants with hands-on experience in customer service, front-of-house operations, accessibility support, and event services. By combining skills development with real employment opportunities, the program helps participants build confidence, gain practical workplace experience, and increase their long-term employment prospects.

Building Pathways to Meaningful Work

At Raise, we believe meaningful work should be accessible to everyone. These organizations we are supporting through our Meaningful Work Foundation continue to demonstrate how community-driven solutions, partnerships, and practical support can help remove barriers and create opportunities for lasting success.

We are grateful for the work these organizations do every day and look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make in communities across Canada.
